BioMy name is Luke LeBrant. I’m 18 years old. I moved from Paris, France to New York City several years ago with my parents. I didn’t want to move, but my dad received a good position in NY. So the whole family came to Manhattan. I missed my friends and the best friend. They are in Paris and we are e-mail, skipe and call each other almost every day. At night in my dreams I see streets, houses, people, who lived with me in Paris. It’s very strange feeling. In New York I live in a four bedroom apartment with my father, mother and sister. My father’s brother with his wife live in the same street, so we visit each other several times a week. It is fun to have large family, when the members help and support each other. I started university and work part time in the Community Center with psychologist and social worker. We work with adolescents, who have different kinds of problems and conflicts. I feel good when I’m helping people to solve problems or to grow. In the future I may be become a psychologist. During weekends I love to visit different places such as Central Park, 5th Avenue, museums and galleries in NY. I enjoy visiting all 5 boroughs of the city: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and I live in Manhattan. When I lived in Europe I was traveling and hiking with my family and my friends. We visited almost all countries in Western Europe. The place is very small and all countries are small compare to US. So it’s funny. After driving 2-3 hours people speak different language and you are exposed to different culture and traditions. During my free time I love to visit theaters, cinemas, art galleries, museums and other places … I play football and basketball. I think I’m good in different sport activities. One of my friends in love with yoga, so twice a week I join her and we exercise together. I love photography and art. I’m enjoying driving a car and bike. Usually I like to be among my friends and enjoy a good company. Sometimes I prefer to stay alone to relax and rest.
